The PGPM Class of 2015 put up a unique and first of its kind welcome for the incoming PGPM batch with a two-day event called SPoorti. The event was held on November 28 and 29 at the SPJIMR campus. It’s objective was to give the 2016 cohort a sneak peek into the SPJIMR life.
The two days were interspersed with faculty interactions and informal student interactions, creating an atmosphere of fun and learning. The first day began with an interaction with the PGPM leadership and SPJIMR faculty, followed by an ice-breaking session facilitated by Prof. Lata Dhir and Prof. Keith D’Souza. The same day ended with a cultural night that saw packed enthusiastic performances by the Class of 2016, the PGPM band Cutting Chai and stand-up comedy. The second day saw a felicitation ceremony where several SPJIMR goodies were won by 2016 participants.
