Team Soparanos, campus winners of CNBC’s and Hindustan Unilever’s flagship marketing competition, L.I.M.E, have gone on to win the second round of the contest and have emerged as National finalists. Pratik Sawant (Marketing), Priyanka Pani (Marketing) and Vivek Mohandas (Marketing) of the PGDM 2014 batch had to come up with an activation strategy to grow the Wall’s Magnum ice-cream brand in Year 2, with recommendations on the 4 P’s of marketing. The second round (semi-finals) was held at the CNBC studios in Mumbai; and the other participants were teams representing each of India’s top 12 B-schools and 3 wildcard entrants, to make a total of 15 teams. The panellists included an editor from CNBC, and a General Manager and Head (F&B) from HUL.
The other teams that qualified for the finals are from MICA and ISB. The finals will be held in December, and we’re sure SPJIMR will put up a good fight! Watch this space for more!
